KAKALI NAG DAS a writer, artist and an art teacher at a Higher Secondary School in Kiriburu, Jharkhand, INDIA. Born and brought up in Kolkata, West Bengal but for the last 20 years she has been living in Jharkhand with her family. She has been painting for over 13 years. Painting is her passion and she loves doing acrylic & oil paintings on canvas. Her specialty is portraits and She has exhibited her artwork online as well as physically in many National and International art exhibitions. 

She does paintings on canvases and writes both Hindi and Bangla articles and poems which were published in some monthly magazines and broadcasted on radio stations. She is an active member in CUCAI (Confederation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations) for 7 years which works in collaboration with UNESCO. She has always encouraged her school students to take part in different art competitions along with their studies. Few local students under her guidance have participated in some of the international art competitions hosted by UNESCO and had successfully won national level and also won international level which was held recently at Kazakhstan organized by KAZFUCA (Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO) participating in the Art cycle of the International Festival "The Planet of ART – 2022" representing our school, state and country.
