   Yogita Parab- Mhaisalkar a strong, hardworking woman "Complete Package" in the music industry defines versatility in her own different way. To begin with as a singer, composer, lyricist, arranger, programmer and above all a competent teacher is no doubt a complete package. Its worth appreciating she is the only lady programmer in music industry.
She has definitely earned a name for herself by her fine work and unlimited patience. She has a very sympathetic emotional heart for unlimited passion for music.



    On the educational front, Yogita has done Masters in Indian Classical Vocal Music with excellence award. She learned vocal music from various Gurus such as Late Sarala ji Bhide, Pt. Uttamrao Agnihotri, Pt. Sunil Katti, Shri Paradkar Guruji, Shri Pramod ji Marulkar, Smt Kunda ji Deshmukh and now on the path of getting Doctorate in Indian Classical Music. as well as the honour of "Sangeetacharya".
Till date she is honoured with many prestigious awards such as Women Achiever's award by Atharva Foundation, Extra ordinary woman award by BMC, Youth festival, Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Parishad, Yuvak Biradari, Swar Sadhana Samiti, Rotary Club, Lion’s Club and Many more. Recently 2 prestigious awards declared for Yogita. One is " Saraswatibai Dadasaheb Phalke Award" & other is "Maharashtra State Board Award.




 She is Working as the Advisory in the committee of National level “Sangeet Kala Academy” as well as "Soccer 7 India Federation" (S7IF) in cultural Dept. Owning an ISO Certified Music Academy named "SWARAMAYI MUSIC ACADEMY" in collaboration with Govt. music school "Pune Bharat Gayan Samaj" is another feather in her cap. So many students from “Swaramayi Music Academy” sang for various channels, Music Albums and also for forth coming Movies in various languages.
Recently she is working with the Brand Ambassador of German music company 'MEINL' Legend Rhythm Arranger Mr. Shyam Edwankar with the name of "ShyamYogi". "To hunt the talent in Indian Tribal and get it in lime light", is the motto of "ShyamYogi" and they are accordingly working. To perform indian classical music with Western as well as world wide Folk rhythmic instruments, is a new creation and uniqueness of "ShyamYogi".


  Apart from all these skills, Yogita is working as a music teacher in Smt Jayaben Khot High School at Borivali East. She is the only Art teacher who always motivating students from all the sections and bringing out the hidden talent of them. In school, Yogita always tries to find out new ways of teaching and also tries for new creation such as "Junk Music". In the event "JBK Fest", she performed "Junk Music" with total 140 students and hit the event. With the waste material such as Gallons, Buckets, Steel Vessels, Claps, Coconut Shells, Sticks, Barrels, Sand paper etc, Yogita trained all the students in fantastic way and in disciplined manner. With the help of counting, all students performed in proper manner, is the success of her. Further also she is eager to find out new creations.
"To make the Theme Song" is the unique talent of Yogita. "Theme song" is something different than the common song. "To understand the story board, To add information with the proper rhyming and frame it in suitable and soothing composition" can make ideal Theme Song. Yogita is having unbelievable talent to make a Theme song of any big or small event. Till date she makes Theme songs of National level "Sangeet Kala Academy", BJP organised "Srujan Mahotsav", Janseva Foundation organised "Sports and cultural events", Maharashtrian social event "Malvani Jatra" and so many social association and institutes.  Yogita's only mission today is "To spread the classical music in mass people". Yogita definitely has a commitment to help the needy, the under privileged for the enhancement and betterment of the society.

    It is a moment of great pride and joy for Yogita to be selected for the most prestigious SDP award .
