Dr. Tanuja Tanu, working as an editor in a famous newspaper of North India, suffers from polio in one leg since childhood and has undergone 7 major surgeries till now. In 2006 Dr Tanuja ,lost her eyesight but she continued to fight life and faced all difficulties with a smile. As a Single mother she never lost courage in the midst of disability and struggle in her life. She got a job after graduation and as well as educating her daughter. She completed MA in Political Science and then Master's degree in Mass Communication.
Dr. Tanuja is doing social work from last 25 years with many national and international organizations . As a Social activist She has been also honored with an honorary doctorate.She has been honoured with many national and international awards. Dr. Tanuja has represented India as a keynote speaker in an international seminar organized under the SDG program of the United Nations in Bangladesh and has also received the SDG Star Award.
Litratute and poetry lover Dr.Tanuja Tanu's 4 poetry collections "Beech Ka" (2023), "Abhuday" (2022) "Kitne Pankh" (2020) and "Mujh Mein Koi Aur" (2018) have been published and her 5th Sanjha Sankaln poetry collection and novels are under publication.
She is the Ambassador of IAWA INDIA PAGEANTS for Punjab Region and also holding the prestigious position of National Coordinator of AHRI Bangladesh and State Chairperson of National Human Rights Social Justice Council (NHRSJC). She is actively working with many social organizations including Daswandh NGO of Jalandhar. As well as She is a active member of many literary organizations.The Motto of her life is Nothing is impossible. Always believe in yourself and inner strength to face every stormy or cruel situation. life is beautiful so Always keep smiling and share love, peace and hope in the world.
